Orijent 1919 bring in Nigeria forward Charles Adah Agada for 2026-27 campaign
Nigeria forward Charles Adah Agada has switched Croatian clubs, joining NK Orijent 1919 on loan from NK Istra.
The 19-year-old centre-forward completed the move on 3 August 2026, with the loan running until 30 June 2027. Agada’s arrival takes him from Croatia’s SuperSport HNL to the Prva NL, where Orijent 1919 will be his club for the 2026-27 campaign.
Agada was born in Otukpo, Nigeria, and joined Istra from Nigerian club Mavlon on 14 February 2025. The move to Orijent represents his second club transfer since arriving in Croatia and keeps him within the country’s professional football structure.
He joined Istra as a teenager and remains 19, having been born on 3 September 2006. Standing at 1.73m, Agada is listed as a centre-forward and will provide Orijent with an attacking option for the season ahead.
The loan agreement includes a scheduled return to Istra at its conclusion on 30 June 2027. Agada’s contract details record the same date as the end of his current spell with Orijent 1919, while his market value is listed at €150,000.
His move comes at the start of the new campaign. Agada has not made an appearance for Istra in the 2026-27 SuperSport HNL season, meaning the switch to Orijent gives him a new footballing setting as the season progresses.
Orijent 1919, based in Rijeka, will compete in the Prva NL during Agada’s loan spell. The forward’s previous experience in Croatia came with Istra, whom he joined after leaving Mavlon in February 2025.
Agada’s transfer follows a clear route through Croatian football: from Mavlon to Istra, and now to Orijent 1919 on a temporary deal. His immediate future is secured at Orijent until the end of June 2027, when he is scheduled to return to Istra.
The Nigeria forward has therefore completed a loan move from NK Istra to NK Orijent 1919.
