Cameroon defender Fadil Montapon makes free move to CD Eldense B

Cameroon centre-back Fadil Montapon has joined CD Eldense B from AC Torrellano on a free transfer, completing a move to the Spanish club on 3 August 2026.

The 21-year-old defender has agreed a contract running until 30 June 2027. Montapon, who plays primarily at centre-back and prefers his right foot, moves to Eldense B after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with AC Torrellano.

Montapon joined AC Torrellano on 1 January 2026 after a period without a club. His switch to Eldense B represents his first recorded move of the 2026-27 season and keeps him in Spain, where he has played since leaving Cameroon.

The Mayakoue-born player began his Spanish career with Depor Fabril, joining the club from Canon Yaounde on a free transfer in August 2024. He left Depor Fabril at the start of 2025 before later returning to football with Torrellano.

His move to Eldense B adds another step to a career that has so far included clubs in Cameroon and Spain. Montapon’s previous Spanish sides, Depor Fabril and AC Torrellano, both preceded the latest change in his club career.

The defender will now continue with CD Eldense B, with his contract in place through the end of June 2027. Fadil Montapon has completed his free transfer from AC Torrellano to CD Eldense B.
