PAOK winger Mahamadou Balde makes Levadiakos switch on loan

Spain and Senegal winger Mahamadou Balde has joined Levadiakos from PAOK on loan, completing a move that keeps the 19-year-old in Greece’s Super League 1. The agreement was completed on 3 August 2026 and runs until 30 June 2027.

Balde plays primarily on the left wing and is comfortable using either foot. Born in Velingara, he represents both Spanish and Senegalese footballing backgrounds and stands 1.84m tall. He moves to Levadiakos after being promoted from PAOK Saloniki B to PAOK’s senior squad at the start of July.

The teenager was part of PAOK’s youth set-up during the 2024-25 campaign, when he helped the club win the Greek Under-19 Cup. He also collected a Greek Under-19 championship medal with PAOK in 2025-26, adding two domestic youth honours before stepping into senior football.

Balde’s route to PAOK began with Pafos FC’s Under-19 side. He joined the Cypriot club’s youth team from Aqua Hotel FC in January 2024 on a free transfer, before moving to PAOK Under-19 on loan in July of the same year. That loan ended in June 2025, after which he returned to Pafos and joined PAOK Saloniki B.

He subsequently made the move from Pafos FC Under-19 to PAOK Saloniki B on 1 July 2025, with the transfer recorded at €100,000. A year later, PAOK brought him into their senior squad, where the club retained his registration before sending him to Levadiakos.

The move comes at the beginning of the 2026-27 campaign. Balde was included in PAOK’s squad records for Europa League qualifying but did not make an appearance, start a match or register a goal or assist before switching clubs.

Levadiakos will now have Balde available through the end of the campaign, while his agreement includes a return to PAOK at its conclusion. He joins the club with a market value of €300,000 and two Greek youth titles behind him.

Balde’s loan move from PAOK to Levadiakos is completed until 30 June 2027.
