Ferran Torres has refused to rule out a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain after admitting that “no one knows what can happen” in football.

Asked about reported interest from Paris Saint-Germain, the Spain international said: “At the moment, I have a contract with Barcelona.”

However, Torres then added a comment that is likely to prompt further speculation during the transfer window.

“But honestly, in football, no one knows what can happen,” he said.

The remarks have focused attention on the possibility of a move to Paris Saint-Germain, despite Torres continuing to be contracted to Barcelona. His response was cautious rather than definitive, leaving open the question of whether his situation could change.

Torres is currently in the United States as part of the Under Armour promotional event, where the interview took place. The question about his future formed part of the discussion on Today, rather than an announcement of any transfer or formal approach.
