Antoine Sekongo linked with Samsunspor move from Dunkerque

Malian-Ivorian midfielder Antoine Sekongo is the subject of a transfer rumour linking him with a move from USL Dunkerque to Turkish Super Lig side Samsunspor.

Sekongo, 22, plays in central midfield and is currently with Dunkerque in France’s Ligue 2. The reported interest comes as Samsunspor look towards the French second tier for a player who could strengthen their midfield options.

The potential transfer would see Sekongo move from France to Turkey, with his market value listed at €4m. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the move remains at the rumour stage.

Sekongo’s profile makes him eligible to represent both Mali and Ivory Coast internationally. His club future is now the focus of speculation, with Samsunspor identified as the prospective destination ahead of the new season.

Dunkerque remain Sekongo’s current club, while Samsunspor compete in Turkey’s top division. Any move would represent a step up in league level for the midfielder, but there has been no confirmation that the two clubs have reached an agreement.
