US Monastir sign Tunisia-France defender Rayan Boukadida on free transfer
Tunisia-France centre-back Rayan Boukadida has joined US Monastir from Le Mans FC B on a free transfer, with the 19-year-old signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2029.
Boukadida, born in France on 23 January 2007, switches to the Tunisian Ligue 1 club after spending the 2025-26 season with Le Mans FC B in France’s National 2, Group B. The move marks his return to Tunisia, where he holds national eligibility alongside his French nationality.
The left-footed defender stands 1.83m tall and operates primarily at centre-back. He made 23 appearances for the National U19 Group D side during the 2025-26 campaign, scoring four goals across 2,070 minutes. He also played four matches in the Coupe Gambardella, completing 360 minutes in the competition.
Boukadida joined Le Mans FC B from Saint-Etienne’s under-19 team on 1 July 2025, also moving without a transfer fee. He had previously progressed from Saint-Etienne’s under-17 side to the club’s under-19 squad in July 2024.
His recent record includes a full season of under-19 league football and appearances in France’s youth cup competition before the move to US Monastir. The new contract keeps him at the Tunisian club through the end of June 2029.
US Monastir have now secured Boukadida’s services as he takes the next step in his career after two seasons in French youth football and National 2 football. The defender officially joined the club on 2 August 2026.
