Club Africain linked with Stade Malien winger Taddeus Nkeng

Cameroonian winger Taddeus Nkeng has been linked with a move from Stade Malien to Club Africain in Tunisia’s Ligue 1.

Nkeng, 26, plays as a left winger and joined Stade Malien from Gabonese side FC 105 Libreville on a free transfer in August 2025. The proposed move would see him leave the Malian club after a spell in which he has featured in the CAF Champions League.

He has made 11 appearances in the competition, scoring six goals, with a goal every 148 minutes. Nkeng has also recorded appearances in Portugal’s second tier, Venezuela’s top flight and Finland’s top two divisions during his career.

The winger came through at Brasseries before moving to FC Porto’s youth set-up in 2018. He later played for FC Porto B, Olimpik Donetsk, HJK Helsinki and Carabobo FC, and won the Finnish title with HJK in 2021.

Nkeng’s earlier honours also include a UEFA Youth League winners’ medal with FC Porto’s under-19 side in the 2018-19 season. He has represented clubs in European and South American competitions, including the UEFA Youth League and Copa Libertadores.

He remains a Stade Malien player, having joined the club less than a year ago, while the reported interest from Club Africain is yet to result in a confirmed transfer.
