Cameroon midfielder Michael Egbemba joins El Gouna from La Viena FC

Cameroon midfielder Michael Egbemba has joined Egyptian Premier League club El Gouna from La Viena FC, completing a move that takes the 20-year-old into the top flight on 2 August 2026.

Egbemba plays in central midfield and is right-footed. He moves to El Gouna after spending the previous part of his career with La Viena FC, where he arrived from Grassrunners FC in October 2024.

The midfielder has one recorded Egypt Cup appearance, playing 32 minutes. His arrival gives El Gouna another central midfield option as the club begins its 2026-27 campaign in the Premier League.

Born on 19 October 2005, Egbemba is a Cameroon national who has spent his recent football career in Egypt. His move to El Gouna represents his second club change since leaving Grassrunners FC, following his switch to La Viena two years earlier.

El Gouna are the latest club in Egbemba’s career, with the midfielder now moving from La Viena after establishing his recent playing experience in Egyptian football. The transfer also marks a step up to a club competing in the country’s highest league.

Egbemba’s move from La Viena FC to El Gouna was completed on 2 August 2026.
