Mohamed El Ashri: Egypt winger joins Dekernes on free transfer

Egypt winger Mohamed El Ashri has joined Dekernes on a free transfer from G Football Club, completing a move that takes the 24-year-old left-sided attacker to the Egyptian club.

El Ashri’s transfer was completed on 2 August 2026, with the player signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2028. He will wear the Dekernes colours after one season with G Football Club, where he arrived from El Zarqa SC in August 2025.

The move gives Dekernes an attacking player whose primary position is on the left wing. El Ashri’s playing role places him on the flank, where he can operate as a wide option for his new side.

His most recently recorded competitive appearances came in the Egypt Cup. El Ashri played twice in the competition, logging 114 minutes in total. He did not record a goal in those appearances.

El Ashri began his recent club sequence with El Zarqa SC before moving to G Football Club on 10 August 2025. His switch to Dekernes follows one season at G Football Club and represents his next club move within Egypt.

Born on 1 December 2001, El Ashri remains 24 and joins Dekernes as an Egyptian national. His new contract keeps him at the club through the end of June 2028, providing a defined agreement for the next two seasons.

The transfer was completed without a fee, ending El Ashri’s time at G Football Club and starting his Dekernes career.
