Shehab Khaled: Egyptian goalkeeper joins G. Shebin on free transfer
Egyptian goalkeeper Shehab Khaled has joined G. Shebin on a free transfer, becoming the club’s latest addition ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The 29-year-old has signed a contract with G. Shebin running until 30 June 2028. Khaled, who is 1.97m tall and prefers his right foot, joins after leaving Team FC.
Khaled’s move to G. Shebin marks his second club change in 2026. He joined Team FC from Aswan SC on a free transfer on 16 January, before completing his latest switch on 2 August.
The goalkeeper had spent the first half of the 2025-26 season with Aswan SC, having arrived from Sporting in July 2025. His move to Sporting also came without a transfer fee.
Before that spell, Khaled played for Masr Lel Taamen, joining the club from El Shorta in January 2024. He had previously represented Fayoum FC and El Dakhlia, while his senior career began with Genius SC.
Khaled’s arrival gives G. Shebin a goalkeeper with experience across several Egyptian clubs. His height and established role between the posts add a clear physical presence to the squad, although no performance statistics or details of his playing record have been disclosed.
The transfer continues a sequence of free moves for Khaled, with each of his last three changes of club from Sporting to Aswan SC, Aswan SC to Team FC, and Team FC to G. Shebin completed without a fee.
G. Shebin have secured Khaled’s services through the end of the 2027-28 season, and the goalkeeper is now contracted to the club until June 2028.
