Bayern Munich hand invitation to Cape Town City youngster Emile Witbooi

“I will always find a way to make a deal happen. I don’t think that’s the issue here.

“I think it’s a case of – are they wanting the player now? For him to go there and not play is not the right thing in my opinion. He’s got to go there and play.”

Comitis believes that regular playing time and the right developmental environment must be at the centre of any decision involving the talented youngster. He warned that moving to a bigger club without a clear pathway to first-team football could slow down Witbooi’s progress.
