Fares Ghedjemis: Rangers linked with Frosinone winger
Algerian-French winger Fares Ghedjemis is the subject of a reported transfer link between Frosinone and Rangers, with the Scottish Premiership club monitoring the 23-year-old ahead of a possible move.
Ghedjemis joined Frosinone from French club FC Rouen in January 2024 for €300,000 and has since established himself as a right winger at the Italian club. He is under contract until 30 June 2028, meaning Frosinone are not under immediate pressure to sell.
The player’s current market value is listed at €7.5m, a figure that could provide a reference point if Rangers decide to pursue the move. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the link remains at rumour stage.
Ghedjemis has made 58 Serie B appearances for Frosinone, scoring 17 goals and providing four assists. He has also made six Serie A appearances, although he has yet to score in Italy’s top flight.
Born in Montreuil, France, Ghedjemis has Algerian and French nationality. He began his senior career with Le Havre’s reserve side before moving through Evreux, Vannes and Rouen, joining Frosinone after a short spell with the latter.
Frosinone are currently the player’s club, while Rangers are the team linked with a move. Ghedjemis’ long-term contract and €7.5m valuation would be relevant factors in any potential negotiations.
