Mahmoud Agib: Egyptian striker joins FC Masar from Dayrout SC on long-term deal

Egyptian centre-forward Mahmoud Agib has joined FC Masar from Dayrout SC, with the 25-year-old signing a contract until 30 June 2028.

Agib, who operates through the middle in attack and is right-footed, makes the move within Egyptian football after spending the previous campaign on the books of Dayrout. His switch to Masar was completed on 30 July 2026, tying him to the club for the next two seasons.

The striker heads to his new side having gained experience across domestic competitions in Egypt. He has already featured in the Premier League, making two appearances and totalling 117 minutes of action, while also being involved in squads for the Egyptian League Cup and Egypt Cup.

Agib’s latest transfer continues a journey that has kept him in Egyptian football throughout his senior career. He first joined Dayrout SC in January 2024 from Tamiya, before spending part of the 2025-26 season on loan at Ittihad Alexandria. That loan ended at the start of 2026, returning him to Dayrout ahead of his move to FC Masar.

At 25, Agib arrives at Masar with league and cup experience and a contract that runs to the summer of 2028, confirming him as a long-term attacking option for the club.
