Pape Djibril Tall: Senegal midfielder signs for Italy’s Luparense

Senegalese defensive midfielder Pape Djibril Tall has joined Italian side Luparense, signing a deal with the Serie D club until 30 June 2027. The 18-year-old moves to the Veneto-based team ahead of the 2026-27 campaign and will link up with his new teammates after finalising his switch on 30 July 2026.

Tall arrives at Luparense as a specialist in the holding midfield role, adding depth in the centre of the pitch for the Serie D – Group C side. The club have moved to secure the youngster on a contract spanning the entire upcoming season, with an option to reassess his future next summer when his deal comes to an end.

Born on 1 January 2008, Tall represents Senegal and steps into Italian football at senior level with Luparense. His arrival continues the club’s strategy of bringing in younger players on manageable contracts, with Tall expected to operate primarily in front of the defence.

The midfielder was unattached immediately before signing for Luparense, making this move a key step in establishing himself in the European game. His recruitment gives the coaching staff another option in a crucial area of the pitch as they prepare for the new league season.

Tall’s transfer to Luparense is registered for the 2026-27 season, with his contract officially running through to 30 June 2027.
