PSG close in on Maghnes Akliouche transfer
Maghnes Akliouche is edging closer to Paris Saint-Germain, with talks between PSG and Monaco moving in the right direction.
The 24-year-old attacker, under contract at Monaco until 2028, is one of the main names on PSG’s shortlist as the club looks to strengthen its attack.
Negotiations are said to be calm and constructive, even if both sides publicly denied that a full agreement had already been reached on Thursday night. Still, the expectation is that the deal could be wrapped up very soon.
Monaco had initially hoped to earn around 65 million euros plus bonuses, but the transfer now appears set to settle at roughly 50 million euros. That figure would still represent a major sale for the Principality club, while giving PSG a creative homegrown talent with plenty of upside.
Akliouche, who has 10 France caps and one international goal, has already built a strong Ligue 1 record. He has played 109 league matches for Monaco, scoring 18 goals and adding 21 assists. If the move is completed, he is expected to sign a five-year deal in Paris.
