Mamadou Balde: Guinea midfielder joins Club Milano on loan from Pianese
Guinea midfielder Mamadou Balde has joined Club Milano on loan from Serie C side Pianese. The 20-year-old central midfielder moves into Serie D Group B after the two Italian clubs agreed a temporary deal running to the end of the 2026-27 season.
Balde, a left-footed central midfielder born in Conakry, had been on the books of Pianese after arriving there on a free transfer from Cagliari’s youth system in August 2025. His latest switch gives him the chance to secure regular senior football, with Club Milano competing one tier below his parent club.
The former Cagliari Primavera player has already built up substantial experience in Italian youth and lower-league football. He has made more than 70 appearances in the top Italian youth competition, Primavera 1, contributing two goals and three assists, and featured in Serie C Group B and Serie D, as well as the Coppa Italia Primavera.
Balde’s development at Cagliari included a standout 2024-25 campaign in which he was part of the side that won the Coppa Italia Primavera. Before his time in Sardinia he had spells with Cesena’s youth team and Casale, having initially arrived in Italy as a teenager.
Standing at 1.75m, Balde is under contract with Club Milano until 30 June 2027, when his loan is scheduled to end and he is due to return to Pianese.
