In total, he has accumulated close to 3,000 minutes of competitive action across league and cup competitions in France.
Diop first came to prominence in his homeland with Oslo FA Dakar before moving to renowned Senegalese outfit Generation Foot in October 2023. From there he made the step to Europe in September 2025, joining Metz B and progressing through the French club’s system to the fringes of the first team.
RFC Seraing will now look to integrate Diop into their defensive options as they prepare for the new Challenger Pro League season, with the Senegalese defender spending the 2026-27 campaign on loan in Belgium before his scheduled return to Metz B in June 2027.
