Mohamed Ali Ourimi: Tunisian winger joins ES Metlaoui from EM Mahdia on long-term deal

Tunisian right winger Mohamed Ali Ourimi has joined ES Metlaoui from EM Mahdia, signing a contract with the Ligue 1 side until 30 June 2028.

The 24-year-old makes the move after a spell with EM Mahdia, becoming the latest addition to Metlaoui’s attacking options on the flanks. The deal keeps him tied to the club for the next two seasons as they look to strengthen their squad for the domestic campaign.

Ourimi operates primarily on the right wing and is right-footed, offering width and direct running in the final third. Standing at 1.82m, he brings a physical presence to wide areas as well as experience of Tunisian top-flight football.

Before joining EM Mahdia in 2025, Ourimi spent time with CS Msaken, having arrived there on a free transfer from CA Bizertin in 2023. His move to Bizertin followed a spell at ES Zarzis, where he first began to establish himself in senior football.

In Ligue 1, he has already accumulated 12 appearances, providing three assists, while also featuring in the Tunisian Cup, where he has scored once in six matches. He has additionally played in relegation and playout phases, adding competitive experience in high-pressure situations.

Ourimi’s switch from EM Mahdia to ES Metlaoui is confirmed as a completed transfer, with his new deal running through to the end of June 2028.
