Montassir Lahtimi: Raja Casablanca linked with move for Moroccan winger from RCA Zemamra

Moroccan right winger Montassir Lahtimi of RCA Zemamra is being linked with a move to Botola Pro rivals Raja Casablanca as the Casablanca giants look to bolster their attacking options.

Lahtimi, 25, has emerged as one of Zemamra’s key outlets in the Moroccan top flight, with 89 league appearances yielding 11 goals and 16 assists. His performances in Botola Pro Inwi have prompted Raja to explore a deal, though any agreement is likely to be complicated by the player’s contract situation and valuation.

Zemamra are understood to be in a strong negotiating position, with Lahtimi under contract until 30 June 2027 and currently valued at around €400,000. The club only signed him last summer, bringing him in on a free transfer on 24 August 2025 after a short spell with Kuwaiti side Kazma SC.

Before returning to Morocco, the Rabat-born winger had a stint in Turkey with Trabzonspor, where he also gained experience in European competition, making appearances in both the Europa League and the CAF Champions League during loan and permanent moves involving Wydad AC. That exposure, combined with his regular minutes in the African Football League, has added to his appeal for domestic heavyweights.

Raja, competing in the same division as Zemamra, are monitoring the situation but have yet to make any move public. For now, Lahtimi remains contracted to RCA Zemamra, where he is tied down for another year beyond the upcoming season.
