Sylvester Jasper: Bulgaria winger linked with move from Zeleznicar Pancevo to Standard Liege

Bulgarian-Nigerian winger Sylvester Jasper of Zeleznicar Pancevo is being linked with a move to Belgian side Standard Liege as the Jupiler Pro League club explore wide attacking options ahead of the new season.

Jasper, 24, is under contract with the Serbian SuperLiga club until June 2027, meaning any deal is likely to require a fee, with his current valuation standing at around €1.8 million. Standard are understood to be tracking his situation closely after his early performances in Serbia, where he has already contributed an assist in the league.

The London-born left winger only joined Zeleznicar Pancevo in July 2025 from Polish side Slask Wroclaw, a move that came after a period which also took in spells at Portimonense and a series of loans away from Fulham’s youth set-up, including time at Hibernian, Bristol Rovers and Colchester United. His versatility on the left flank and ability to operate from the right on his preferred foot have added to his appeal.

Jasper has featured in both the Serbian top flight and UEFA Conference League qualifying early this campaign, starting in Europe and coming off the bench domestically as he looks to establish himself in Pancevo’s attack.

While Standard Liege’s level of interest has not yet progressed to an official bid, Jasper’s long-term deal in Serbia and his recent rise in market value suggest negotiations would be complex, with Zeleznicar Pancevo in a strong position ahead of any potential talks.
