Adem Zorgane: Olympiacos eye move for Algeria and Union SG midfielder

Algeria midfielder Adem Zorgane of Union Saint-Gilloise is being linked with a move to Greek champions Olympiacos as the Super League 1 side assess central options for the new season.

The 26-year-old, who plays as a central midfielder and wears the number 8 shirt at Union SG, is under contract with the Belgian club until 30 June 2029, meaning any deal would likely require a significant fee. His current market valuation stands at €12m, underlining the scale of investment Olympiacos would need to prise him away from Brussels.

Zorgane only joined Union SG last summer, arriving from league rivals Charleroi in July 2025 for a fee of €4.3m. Since moving to Belgium’s top flight he has built a substantial body of work, making 143 Jupiler Pro League appearances and contributing 11 goals and 26 assists, as well as featuring in European competition, including the UEFA Champions League.

Born in Setif and right-footed, Zorgane has also showcased his consistency in domestic knockout competitions and played a part in Union SG’s recent Belgian Cup triumph in 2026, adding silverware to his resume at the club.

The length of his contract and his status at Union SG, who committed him to a four-year deal on arrival, place the Belgian side in a strong negotiating position should Olympiacos decide to formalise their interest in the Algerian international midfielder.
