Moroccan tactician Abdel Salam Ouaddou named PSL Coach of the Season after historic Orlando Pirates treble

Moroccan coach Abdel Salam Ouaddou has been crowned the Premier Soccer League (PSL) Coach of the Season for the 2025/26 campaign after guiding Orlando Pirates to a historic treble-winning season.

Ouaddou enjoyed a remarkable first season in charge of the Buccaneers, leading the club to an unprecedented domestic clean sweep that saw them lift the South African Premier Soccer League title, the Elite Cup and the League Cup.

The achievement has earned the Moroccan tactician widespread recognition, with his tactical approach, leadership and ability to build a winning mentality at Orlando Pirates playing a key role in one of the club’s most successful campaigns in recent history.
