Louey Ben Farhat: Eintracht Frankfurt eye move for Karlsruher SC forward

Louey Ben Farhat, the Tunisia- and Germany-eligible forward currently at Karlsruher SC, is being linked with a move to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. The 20-year-old, who plays primarily as a second striker, is viewed as a candidate to step up from the 2. Bundesliga, with the probability of a deal currently rated at 59%.

Ben Farhat has emerged as a key attacking option for Karlsruhe, making 33 league appearances in the 2. Bundesliga and scoring nine goals. His performances in the second tier have brought him to the attention of top-flight recruiters, with Frankfurt monitoring his progress closely as they assess options to strengthen their forward line.

Karlsruhe moved Ben Farhat into the senior set-up on 1 January 2025 after he progressed through their youth ranks, and he is under contract with the club until 30 June 2029. That long-term deal, combined with a current market value of around €10 million, means any negotiations are likely to require a significant fee for Karlsruher SC to consider a sale.

Born in Waiblingen and standing at 1.75m, Ben Farhat has come through the German youth system and is right-footed, operating most naturally off a central striker. Having also been productive at under-19 level for Karlsruhe, his rapid adaptation to senior football has underpinned interest from higher up the German pyramid.

For now, Ben Farhat remains tied to Karlsruher SC on a contract running to 2029, leaving the 2. Bundesliga club in a strong position should Frankfurt decide to formalise their interest.
