Madieng Ndiaye: Senegal centre-back leaves ASC Jaraaf to become free agent

Senegal defender Madieng Ndiaye has left ASC Jaraaf and become a free agent after his contract with the Dakar club came to an end. The 28-year-old centre-back, who stands at 1.90m and is right-footed, is now without a club following the conclusion of his spell in Ligue 1.

Ndiaye, born in Louga on 3 January 1998, had been on the books of Jaraaf since September 2025, joining them on a free transfer from fellow Senegalese side Guediawaye FC. His departure marks the latest step in a career spent entirely in Senegal’s domestic game, with the defender now open to offers for the next move in his career.

Before arriving at Jaraaf, Ndiaye built his reputation with successive free transfers through several Ligue 1 outfits. He moved from Ndiambour to Jamono Fatick in 2022, then switched to Guediawaye FC in 2024, again on a free. That path eventually took him to Jaraaf, one of the country’s most established clubs, where he gained experience in the top flight and on the continental stage in the CAF Champions League.

Ndiaye began his senior journey at Ndiambour after progressing from their U20 side in 2015, settling into his natural role in the heart of defence. Now at an age where many centre-backs reach full maturity, he heads into the new campaign unattached and available for a new challenge.

The Senegalese centre-back’s exit from ASC Jaraaf has been registered, confirming his status as a free agent.
