Souleymane Coly: Senegal winger leaves ASC Jaraaf to become free agent

Senegalese right winger Souleymane Coly has left ASC Jaraaf and become a free agent, bringing his spell with the Dakar club to an end. The 25-year-old, who favours his right foot and stands at 1.85m, is now without a club after his departure was confirmed on 28 July 2026.

Coly moves into free agency following a brief stint at Jaraaf, whom he joined from Jamus FC in February 2026 on a free transfer. His market value at the time of his exit was listed at €25,000, underlining his status as an emerging attacking option on the domestic scene.

During his time in Senegal’s top flight, Coly featured in Ligue 1, making nine appearances and accumulating 547 minutes of playing time. Operating mainly as an attacking right winger, he gained experience in the country’s leading competition, while also being part of squads exposed to continental club football in the CAF Champions League.

Before Jaraaf, Coly’s career saw him move steadily through the Senegalese club system. He first stepped up with Port Autonome in 2021, switching from D. Diop FC on a free transfer, before joining Ouakam in 2022. A move to Jamus FC followed in July 2025, ahead of his most recent spell with Jaraaf.

Born on 3 February 2001, Coly is now 25 and entering a key stage of his career as he assesses his next move after leaving ASC Jaraaf. The winger’s transfer means he is officially unattached and available to sign for a new club.
