Hamza Haoudi: Italian-Moroccan midfielder leaves Pro Vercelli to become free agent

Italian-Moroccan midfielder Hamza Haoudi has left Pro Vercelli and is now a free agent after his contract with the Serie C club came to an end. The 25-year-old central midfielder departs the Piedmont side ahead of the new campaign and is available to sign for a new club immediately.

Haoudi, born in Lucca and right-footed, had been with Pro Vercelli since November 2025, when he rejoined the club after a short spell without a team. His latest exit marks the second time in two seasons that he has moved into free agency, having also left SPAL in similar fashion in July 2025.

Comfortable in central midfield, Haoudi has built up solid experience in the Italian lower leagues. Across Serie C, he has made more than 100 appearances, with his most productive spell coming in Serie C Group A, where he recorded eight goals and eight assists in 61 matches and logged over 4,400 minutes on the pitch.

His career has included time in both Serie B and Serie C. After coming through the ranks at Livorno, including a stint with the club’s U19 side, he stepped up to the senior team before earning a move to Frosinone in 2021. Loan spells at Turris and Pro Vercelli followed, before a permanent switch to SPAL in January 2025 and then a return to Pro Vercelli later that year.

Haoudi, whose current market value is listed at €25,000, now officially leaves Pro Vercelli and begins the search for the next step in his professional career as a free agent.
