Hassan Elsayed: Denmark-born winger joins FA 2000 on free transfer

Denmark-born Egypt-eligible winger Hassan Elsayed has joined FA 2000 on a free transfer from Helenites. The 25-year-old left-sided attacker links up with the Danish 2.Division club after his deal with the American Virgin Islands outfit came to an end, completing the move on 27 July 2026.

Elsayed, who operates primarily as a left winger but favours his right foot, adds versatility and height to the FA 2000 front line, standing at 1.82m. The Copenhagen-based club have moved to strengthen their attacking options as the new campaign approaches, bringing in a player with experience of competitive cup football in different environments.

Capable of representing both Denmark and Egypt, Elsayed arrives having already been exposed to senior football outside Denmark. His time with Helenites provided the platform for the switch back into the European game, with the wide player now stepping into the Danish third tier.

The winger has already featured in the 2026-27 campaign, making appearances in both the CFU Club Shield and the Svenska Cupen, where he started once and came off the bench once, playing around half of the available minutes in each competition. Although he did not register a goal or an assist in those outings, the minutes underline his readiness for immediate involvement.

Born on 21 May 2001, Elsayed is entering what should be the prime years of his career and will now look to establish himself in FA 2000’s attack in the 2.Division. The free transfer sees him officially registered with Frederiksberg Alliancen 2000 from 27 July 2026.
