Jude Nwankwo: Nigerian defender joins Unirea Tasnad on free transfer

Nigerian centre-back Jude Nwankwo has joined Romanian side Unirea Tasnad on a free transfer from Gheorghe Doja. The 24-year-old moves within the Romanian pyramid as he looks to take the next step in his career in European football.

Nwankwo leaves Gheorghe Doja to link up with Unirea Tasnad in a direct switch between Romanian clubs confirmed on 27 July 2026. The transfer is a permanent deal, with no fee involved between the two sides.
