Wael Ferjani: Tunisian forward joins Stade Gabesien on free transfer

Tunisian second striker Wael Ferjani has joined Stade Gabesien on a free transfer from AS Kasserine, signing a contract with the club until 30 June 2028.

The 32-year-old attacker, who operates primarily as a support forward, makes the switch ahead of the new campaign after one season with AS Kasserine. His move keeps him in familiar surroundings in southern Tunisia, where he previously played for AS Gabes.

Ferjani arrives at Stade Gabesien with top-flight experience, having featured in Ligue 1 earlier in his career. Across league and cup competitions, he has clocked more than 750 senior minutes, including 12 appearances and a goal in Ligue 1, as well as outings in the Tunisian Cup.

Before his latest move, Ferjani joined AS Kasserine in August 2025 on a free transfer from AS Gabes. That came after a spell at OC Kerkennah, underlining a career largely built within Tunisian football.

Stade Gabesien will now look to Ferjani to add depth and experience in the attacking positions over the next two seasons following the completion of his free transfer from AS Kasserine.
