Ryan Moumbagna: Cameroonian defender joins M. Lupeni on free transfer from Cetatea Tr. M.

Cameroonian centre-back Ryan Moumbagna has joined Romanian side M. Lupeni on a free transfer from Cetatea Tr. M. The 24-year-old moves within the Romanian league system as he takes up a new challenge at the heart of M. Lupeni’s defence.

Moumbagna, who operates primarily as a central defender, switches clubs after his spell with Cetatea Tr. M., where he had been building his senior career. The deal sees him change teams without a transfer fee, allowing M. Lupeni to strengthen their back line without a financial outlay.

The move continues Moumbagna’s development in Romanian football, with M. Lupeni turning to the Cameroon-born defender to add depth and physical presence in central areas. His age profile gives the club a player with first-team experience who still has room to grow in the domestic game.

By recruiting Moumbagna from a fellow Romanian side, M.
