Ilyes Djebari: Algerian midfielder signs for US Biskra on one-year deal

Algerian midfielder Ilyes Djebari has joined US Biskra, signing a contract with the Ligue 1 side until 30 June 2027.

The 20-year-old central midfielder links up with the top-flight club after his move was finalised on 27 July 2026. Djebari, who operates primarily in the centre of the pitch, becomes one of the latest additions to Biskra’s squad ahead of the new campaign.

Djebari arrives as a domestic signing for the Algerian outfit, adding youthful depth to a midfield department that will be tested over the Ligue 1 season. His deal runs for one year, giving both club and player a defined window to establish a role in the first team and assess his longer-term future.

Born on 1 January 2006, Djebari fits into the category of developing players being brought into Algeria’s top tier, with clubs increasingly looking to younger options to build competitive squads.
