Wassim Maghzaoui: Tunisia goalkeeper joins ES Zarzis from Club Africain on long-term deal
Tunisia goalkeeper Wassim Maghzaoui has joined ES Zarzis from Club Africain, signing a contract with the Ligue 1 side until 30 June 2029.
The 22-year-old moves within the Tunisian top flight to become part of the Zarzis squad from the start of the new campaign, with the transfer formally completed on 27 July 2026.
Maghzaoui, who stands at 1.88m and is right-footed, arrives as a specialist goalkeeper option for ES Zarzis as the club look to strengthen their squad with domestic recruits. His switch from Club Africain keeps him in the same division but offers a fresh environment and the prospect of an extended spell under contract.
Born on 3 January 2004, Maghzaoui has already gained experience at senior level in Tunisia’s top tier and now commits his peak years to Zarzis with a three-year deal. The move confirms a change of direction for the player, who leaves one of the country’s most established clubs to take up a new challenge on the coast.
ES Zarzis now have Maghzaoui tied down until the summer of 2029 as part of their long-term planning in goal.
