Yassin Hidraoui-Akachar: Morocco-Belgium winger joins Zebra Elites on free transfer from Lierse SK

Morocco-Belgium winger Yassin Hidraoui-Akachar has joined Zebra Elites from Lierse SK on a free transfer, signing a deal with the Belgian club until 30 June 2027.

The 19-year-old right-sided attacker, who prefers to operate on the right wing and plays primarily on his left foot, completes the move after one season with Lierse in the Challenger Pro League. Zebra Elites, who compete in the 1ste Nationale, have added the youngster with immediate effect.

Born in Barcelona and standing at 1.77m, Hidraoui-Akachar is valued at around €100,000 and has already gained experience in both youth and senior environments in Belgium and Germany. He joined Lierse in July 2025, also on a free transfer, after developing in the Schalke 04 academy.

Last season he featured across several competitions, including the Challenger Pro League and the Belgian Croky Cup, as well as youth and reserve leagues. Across his time in Germany and Belgium he has appeared in national youth leagues such as the U17-Bundesliga West and the U21 Pro League, contributing goals and assists at those levels.

Hidraoui-Akachar moved to Schalke 04’s youth set-up from KAS Eupen’s academy in 2023, progressing from Schalke’s U17s to the U19s before making the switch back to Belgium with Lierse. His new contract with Zebra Elites runs for one season, covering the 2026-27 campaign.

The transfer confirms Hidraoui-Akachar’s permanent switch within Belgium, as he becomes the latest addition to the Zebra Elites squad.
