The next West African Football Federations Union Cup (Ufoa Zone B) is set to take place in Ivory Coast from September 27 to October 7, 2023. This competition is exclusively for women’s national teams, and six countries are participating: Ghana, Liberia, Mali, Benin, Senegal, and the host country, Ivory Coast. The six teams are divided into two groups of three.
In Group A, Ivory Coast, Liberia, and Mali will compete, while Group B consists of Senegal, Benin, and Ghana. The tournament’s trophy is named after the Ivorian first lady, Dominique Ouattara. The winning team will receive a prize of 3 million CFA francs, with the total budget for the competition estimated at 20 million CFA francs.
