Fouad Hadded: Algerian midfielder joins MO Bejaia on free transfer from RC Kouba
Algerian midfielder Fouad Hadded has joined MO Bejaia on a free transfer from RC Kouba, returning to his home region as the Algerian club reshapes its midfield options. The 35-year-old defensive midfielder has signed for the Bejaia side ahead of the new campaign after his contract with RC Kouba came to an end.
Hadded, who was born in Collo and stands at 1.71m, is known primarily for his work in defensive midfield and arrives with considerable experience in the domestic game. Comfortable using both feet, he is expected to operate in a screening role in front of the back line, adding positional discipline and know-how to MO Bejaia’s spine.
The move marks another chapter in a long senior career for the Algerian, who has spent recent seasons anchoring midfield at RC Kouba. His switch to MO Bejaia was finalised on 26 July 2026, aligning with the club’s efforts to add seasoned professionals to their squad.
Hadded’s arrival also brings added tactical flexibility, with his profile allowing MO Bejaia to adjust between more conservative and possession-based setups in central areas. His familiarity with Algerian football and its demands is seen as an asset in a squad that blends different age profiles.
With the free-transfer deal completed and registration formalities in place, Hadded is now an MO Bejaia player ahead of the upcoming season.
