Hacene Ogbi Ben Haddouche: Algerian midfielder joins MO Bejaia on free transfer from CA Batna

Algerian attacking midfielder Hacene Ogbi Ben Haddouche has joined MO Bejaia on a free transfer from CA Batna. The 36-year-old, born in El Harrach, moves after leaving Batna at the end of his spell with the club and will continue his career in the Algerian game with Bejaia.

Ogbi Ben Haddouche, who stands at 1.61m and plays primarily as an attacking midfielder, arrives with a strong pedigree in domestic and continental competition. A right-footed playmaker, he has signed for MO Bejaia ahead of the new campaign, with the transfer completed on 26 July 2026.

The veteran playmaker brings significant experience from his earlier career, including a decorated spell with ES Setif. There he won the Algerian championship in the 2012-13 season before lifting the CAF Champions League title in 2013-14, cementing his status as a proven performer at the highest level of African club football.

He later impressed with MC Oran, where he finished as the league’s best assist provider in the 2015-16 season, underlining his reputation as a creative presence in the final third. That track record of supplying goals is likely to be a key asset for MO Bejaia as they reshape their midfield options.
