Mohamed Faiz Belgourai: Algeria right-back joins CS Constantine on free transfer
Algerian defender Mohamed Faiz Belgourai has joined CS Constantine on a free transfer after leaving MB Rouissat, signing a long-term deal with the Ligue 1 side.
The 21-year-old right-back has agreed a contract with Constantine running until 30 June 2029, committing his future to the club for the next three years. The move keeps him in Algeria’s top flight, with both his former and new teams competing in Ligue 1.
Belgourai makes the switch with a listed market value of €225,000, underlining CS Constantine’s decision to invest in a young defender without paying a transfer fee. The deal was completed on 26 July 2026.
Primarily deployed at right-back, Belgourai strengthens the defensive options at Constantine and offers specialist cover on the flank. Born on 13 April 2005, he moves at an age where he already has senior experience behind him but substantial scope to establish himself further in the domestic game.
MB Rouissat was his previous club, and the transition between two sides in the same division means he will already be familiar with the demands of Algerian top-tier football. His arrival continues Constantine’s focus on recruiting domestic talent with league experience.
Belgourai is now tied to CS Constantine until the summer of 2029 following his free transfer from MB Rouissat.
