Yassine Titraoui: Algeria midfielder at Charleroi linked with Olympiacos move

Algeria midfielder Yassine Titraoui of Royal Charleroi SC is being linked with a move to Greek giants Olympiacos as the Super League 1 club explores options to strengthen its midfield.

The 23-year-old central midfielder, who joined Charleroi in July 2024, is under contract with the Belgian side until 30 June 2027, meaning any deal would require the Greeks to negotiate a transfer fee rather than wait for a free move. Titraoui currently carries an estimated market value of around €7 million, a figure likely to frame initial discussions between the clubs if Olympiacos decide to formalise their interest.

Born in M’Sila and standing at 1.80m, Titraoui has been part of Algeria’s national-team setup and was included in the squad for the 2026 World Cup, although he did not feature in any of their matches at the tournament. He was previously part of the Algeria side that lifted the Arab Cup in the 2020–21 season, an achievement that helped raise his profile beyond domestic and regional competitions.

Charleroi moved for Titraoui in 2024 with a multi-year deal, positioning him as a medium-term asset both on the pitch and in the transfer market. With three years left on his contract, the Belgian club are in a strong position to demand a significant fee if Olympiacos choose to press ahead with a bid.
