Omar Salah: Egyptian winger joins Mostakbal Sport on free transfer
Egyptian right winger Omar Salah has joined Mostakbal Sport on a free transfer from Baladiya, signing a deal that runs until June 2028.
The 25-year-old left-footed attacker completes the move after spending the second half of last season with Baladiya, having arrived there in February on a free. His switch keeps him in Egyptian domestic football and ties him to Mostakbal Sport for the next two campaigns.
Salah operates primarily on the right flank and has had brief top-flight exposure, making two Premier League appearances and featuring for a total of nine minutes. Mostakbal Sport will now look to give him a more settled platform after a sequence of short stints and loans.
Before joining Baladiya, Salah had a spell with El Dakhlia, first signing for them in September 2024 following a period without a club. He later spent time on loan at Aswan SC during the 2025-26 season, returning to El Dakhlia when that agreement ended before moving on again.
Earlier in his career, the Cairo-born winger was on the books at Modern Future and El Sekka SC, as well as Coca-Cola FC after leaving Pyramids FC’s youth ranks in 2020. His highest recorded market value reached €50,000 during a loan spell from Modern Future to El Sekka.
Salah’s latest move sees him commit his immediate future to Mostakbal Sport on a long-term free transfer from Baladiya.
