Joel Ndala: England and DR Congo Winger Linked with Cercle Brugge Move from Man City U21
Joel Ndala, the England and DR Congo-eligible left winger currently with Manchester City U21, is being linked with a move to Belgian top-flight side Cercle Brugge. The Jupiler Pro League club are understood to be exploring a deal for the 20-year-old as they look to strengthen their wide options ahead of the new season.
Ndala, valued at around €3 million, has been part of City’s development squad in Premier League 2 and is seen as one of the next in line to step up from the academy structure. Cercle Brugge are thought to view the left-sided attacker as a player who can make an immediate impact at senior level, with the Belgian league often used as a platform for young talent to gain regular first-team football.
A move to Bruges would represent Ndala’s first venture into a top-flight senior environment, having built his reputation in youth and under-21 football at City. His performances for the U21s have put him on the radar of clubs on the continent, with Belgian sides in particular keeping a close eye on Premier League 2.
While talks have not yet produced an agreement, the presence of a clear valuation provides a framework for negotiations between the clubs. Ndala remains contracted to Manchester City’s youth set-up for now, with his immediate future expected to be clarified as Cercle Brugge assess whether to turn their interest into a formal offer.
