Khaled Ahmed: Egyptian left-back rejoins El Gouna on loan from Enppi SC

Egyptian defender Khaled Ahmed has rejoined El Gouna on loan from Enppi SC, with the 22-year-old left-back moving for the 2026-27 Premier League campaign.

The deal, a straight loan transfer, sees Ahmed return to the Red Sea club just weeks after his previous temporary spell officially ended and he went back to Enppi. His new contract at El Gouna runs until 30 June 2027.

Ahmed, a left-footed full-back, first stepped up from Enppi’s youth ranks in 2024 before earning a move into the senior side. He initially joined El Gouna on loan ahead of the 2025-26 season, and his performances over that spell have prompted the club to bring him back for a second stint.

Last season, Ahmed featured regularly across domestic competitions, making over 20 league appearances and adding further outings in the Egyptian League Cup and Egypt Cup. He contributed assists in both league and cup action and also scored once during relegation play-off matches, underlining his influence in high-pressure fixtures.

El Gouna have moved again for the defender as they look to strengthen their options on the left side of defence, with Ahmed’s recent run of first-team minutes offering proven top-flight experience. His market value stands at around €250,000, reflecting his growing status after back-to-back seasons at senior level.

Ahmed will spend the entire 2026-27 campaign with El Gouna before his loan from Enppi SC is scheduled to end in June 2027.
