Babacar Fedior: Senegal striker returns to SD Ejea on free transfer from Minera
Senegal forward Babacar Fedior has rejoined SD Ejea on a free transfer from Spanish side Minera. The 23-year-old centre-forward has signed a deal with the Aragonese club until 30 June 2027.
Fedior heads back to Ejea for a second spell, having previously played for the club before moves to Yeclano and then Minera, both also on free transfers. His return restores a familiar attacking option for Ejea as they shape their squad for the new campaign.
The Dakar-born striker has built up experience in Spain’s lower divisions over recent seasons. Across his time in the Segunda Federacion, he has made close to 50 appearances, scoring five league goals while also contributing an assist in the Copa del Rey. His playing time has been spread between Group II and Group IV of the competition, giving him a grounding against varied opposition.
Fedior first arrived at Ejea in 2024 after a spell without a club, earning another chance in Spanish football before later switching to Yeclano in the summer of 2025. A short stint at Minera followed in January 2026, before his latest move takes him back to the Estadio Municipal de Luchan.
With a current market value of around €50,000, Fedior adds depth to Ejea’s attacking department and increases competition for the central striking role. His contract runs to the end of the 2026-27 season, confirming his long-term commitment to the club.
