Albert Kangwanda: Zambia winger joins Young Africans from Red Arrows FC

Zambia winger Albert Kangwanda has joined Young Africans from Red Arrows FC, completing a move that takes him back into East African club football. The 27-year-old left-sided attacker links up with the Tanzanian giants after his latest spell in the Zambian game.

Kangwanda arrives at Young Africans having most recently been on the books of Red Arrows, a club he rejoined in 2025 following a period with Sudanese side Al-Hilal. Primarily a left winger and naturally left-footed, he adds pace and width to the attack of the Dar es Salaam club.

The Luanshya-born player has built up experience across several leagues in recent seasons. After emerging in Zambian football, he earned a move to Croatian outfit HNK Gorica in 2022, where he featured in both league and cup competitions. He later returned to Africa with Red Arrows and then Al-Hilal, experiencing multiple switches between the two, including loan spells.

During his time abroad, Kangwanda gained continental experience in the CAF Champions League and has also featured in domestic top-flight competition in Zambia, contributing assists and regular minutes from the flank. That exposure to both African and European football adds further depth to Young Africans’ attacking options.

Kangwanda’s move from Red Arrows to Young Africans has been finalised ahead of the new campaign, confirming the Zambia international as the latest addition to the Tanzanian club’s squad.
