Yanga FC complete signing of Cheick Ibrahim Touré from Saudi side Al-Jabalain
Tanzanian giants Yanga FC have completed the signing of Ivorian forward Cheick Ibrahim Touré as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new football season.
The 29-year-old striker joins the club following his latest spell with Saudi First Division outfit Al-Jabalain FC, where he featured before securing a move to East Africa.
Touré brings with him experience from different leagues and is expected to add more attacking quality, competition and depth to Yanga FC’s frontline.
The forward’s arrival forms part of Yanga’s plans to build a competitive squad capable of challenging on multiple fronts, including domestic competitions and continental assignments.
Having previously played in Saudi Arabia, Touré arrives with international experience and a reputation as a physically strong attacker who can operate in advanced positions.
Yanga FC are hoping the addition of the Ivorian will provide more options in attack and improve their goal-scoring threat as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
