Mady Camara: Guinea Midfielder at PAOK Linked with La Liga Move to Getafe
Guinea international Mady Camara, currently at Greek side PAOK, is being linked with a move to La Liga club Getafe as the Spanish team explore midfield reinforcements this summer.
The 29-year-old central midfielder is under contract with PAOK until 30 June 2027, meaning any deal would require negotiations with the Super League 1 club rather than a free transfer. Camara is valued at around €5 million, a figure likely to frame early discussions over a potential fee if Getafe decide to formalise their interest.
Camara has been a regular presence in the PAOK midfield, and his profile as a central option has drawn attention from clubs outside Greece. A move to Getafe would offer the Guinean a first opportunity in Spain’s top flight, with the La Liga side seeking to add experience and depth in the centre of the pitch ahead of the new season.
PAOK face a decision over whether to cash in on the player while he has two years remaining on his deal or keep him as part of their core squad going into the final stretch of his contract. With his current agreement running through to 2027, the Greek club are under no immediate pressure to sell, and any transfer is expected to hinge on the level of Getafe’s bid relative to PAOK’s valuation.
