Oussama Ait-Fana: Franco-Moroccan forward joins FC Chalon on free transfer
Franco-Moroccan centre-forward Oussama Ait-Fana has joined FC Chalon on a free transfer from Chapelloise, strengthening the National 2 Group F side’s attacking options for the new campaign.
The 26-year-old, born in Limoges and standing at 1.80m, arrives after a short spell with Chapelloise, whom he also joined as a free agent earlier in 2026. His move continues a career built across the French lower divisions, with FC Chalon now the latest club to secure the right-footer’s services as a central striker.
Ait-Fana brings with him solid experience at National 2 and National 3 level. Across recent seasons he has accumulated regular game time in both tiers, including more than 20 appearances in National 3 Group I with two goals, and further outings in National 2 Group A. Previous campaigns in National 3 Group K and the Occitanie section also saw him on the scoresheet, underlining his familiarity with the demands of France’s semi-professional competitions.
Before Chapelloise, Ait-Fana played for FC Limonest and FC Vaulx-en-Velin, having joined each of those clubs on free transfers as he worked his way through the regional and national structure. Earlier spells at AS Fabregues and Vendargues followed his development in the AC Ajaccio youth system, progressing from the U17s to the B team after leaving his hometown side Limoges as a teenager.
FC Chalon’s signing of Ait-Fana is a permanent free transfer, finalised on 24 July 2026.
