Aboubacar Sidibe: Mali–Ivory Coast forward joins Paris 13 Atletico on loan from Sochaux
Paris 13 Atletico have secured the loan signing of Mali–Ivory Coast centre-forward Aboubacar Sidibe from Ligue 2 side FC Sochaux. The 20-year-old, who stands at 1.87m and plays predominantly through the middle, joins the Ligue 3 club on a deal running until 30 June 2027, when he is scheduled to return to Sochaux.
Born in Bamako on 7 February 2006, Sidibe switches to the capital-based side with a market value of €200,000. The move offers the forward a first extended opportunity at senior level away from Sochaux, where he progressed from the Under-19s into the first team last season.
Sidibe initially arrived in France with Sochaux’s U19s in August 2024 from Africa Foot, before being promoted to the senior squad in July 2025. His development through the Sochaux system has included game time across youth and lower-division competitions, as well as appearances in the Coupe de France.
The right-footed attacker has shown his eye for goal in the French lower leagues, scoring seven times and providing four assists across National 2 and youth national competitions, while also featuring in four Ligue 3 matches and four Coupe de France ties. Paris 13 Atletico’s move reflects confidence in his ability to adapt to regular football at senior level.
Sidibe will now spend the 2026-27 campaign with Paris 13 Atletico in Ligue 3, before his loan from Sochaux expires at the end of June 2027.
