Carraro Injai: Franco-Senegalese midfielder joins Torreense from Amiens SC B

Torreense have added attacking midfielder Carraro Injai to their squad after the France-born Senegalese player completed a move from Amiens SC B. The 20-year-old, who operates primarily as an attacking midfielder, joins the Liga Portugal 2 side ahead of the new campaign.

Injai leaves Amiens’ reserve setup having progressed through the French club’s youth ranks in recent seasons. He stepped up from Amiens’ U17s to the U19s in 2023 before earning a place with Amiens SC B in 2025, and now moves abroad for the first time in his career with this switch to Portugal.

Born in Evry on 3 June 2006, Injai is eligible for both France and Senegal and has built his reputation in France’s youth and lower divisions. Across youth and senior competitions with Amiens, he has accumulated more than 60 appearances, including outings in National U19, National 2, Ligue 2 and the Coupe de France.

His most productive spell came at U19 level, where he scored nine goals in 32 appearances, while he also featured in the prestigious Coupe Gambardella youth competition. Brief appearances in Ligue 2 and the French Cup provided him with initial senior experience before his elevation to Amiens’ B side.

Torreense, who compete in Liga Portugal 2, have moved to bring in Injai as an attacking option from midfield as they prepare for the upcoming season. The deal sees Injai end his long association with Amiens to begin a new chapter in Portuguese football with the Torres Vedras club.
