Felix Oloye: Nigerian left-back joins Kano Pillars on free transfer from Niger Tornadoes

Nigerian defender Felix Oloye has joined Kano Pillars on a free transfer from NPFL rivals Niger Tornadoes.

The 33-year-old left-back, born in Lagos, moves to the Kano giants after two seasons with Tornadoes, adding experience and depth on the left side of defence. The deal, completed on 24 July 2026, sees Oloye arrive without a transfer fee after the expiry of his previous contract.

Oloye, a left-footer whose main position is at left-back, brings significant top-flight mileage to his new club. In the most recent NPFL campaign he featured 28 times, contributing three assists and logging more than 2,000 minutes of action, underlining his status as a regular starter.

Before his spell at Niger Tornadoes, Oloye had stints with Ijebu United FC and Vandrezzer FC, building a steady career across the Nigerian league system. His move to Kano Pillars marks the latest step in a domestic journey that has kept him within the country’s top competitive environment.

Kano Pillars have added Oloye at a time when his market value stands at around €25,000, reflecting his standing as an established NPFL defender.

The Lagos-born full-back officially became a Kano Pillars player on 24 July 2026 following the completion of his free transfer from Niger Tornadoes.
