Tijane N’Diaye: Franco-Mauritanian right-back joins CMS Oissel on free transfer

Franco-Mauritanian defender Tijane N’Diaye has joined French side CMS Oissel on a free transfer from ASC Police. The 22-year-old right-back arrives after a spell in Mauritania and will now link up with the National 2 Group D club from the start of the 2026-27 campaign.

N’Diaye, born in Caen in May 2004, is a right-footed full-back who has built his career between France and Mauritania. His move to Oissel follows a season with ASC Police, whom he also joined on a free transfer after leaving Stade Laval’s reserve team in September 2025.

Before heading to Mauritania, N’Diaye came through the French development system. He progressed from SM Caen’s under-19s to Stade Laval’s youth ranks in 2021, later stepping up to Laval’s B side in 2023. That pathway gave him regular exposure to National 2 football and French youth competitions.

Across his time in France, N’Diaye has already accumulated senior and youth experience in National 2 and the National U19 championship, as well as appearances in the Coupe Gambardella. His record in those competitions includes multiple goals from right-back, underlining his capacity to contribute in advanced areas as well as defensively.

Standing at 1.80m, N’Diaye offers CMS Oissel a physically equipped option on the right side of their defence as they prepare for the new National 2 Group D season. The deal is a permanent free transfer, with the player officially completing his move to the French club on 24 July 2026.
